To thrive in this high-energy quest, you’ll need:  A high school diploma or equivalent (bonus points for college coursework—think of it as extra XP). 

 

2+ years of recent leasing experience in the multifamily game, showing you’ve got the skills to pay the bills. 

 

A customer-obsessed mindset from retail, hospitality, or similar gigs, radiating a liking that wins over prospects and residents. 

 

Next-level communication and people skills to charm, persuade, and inspire like a pro. 

Tech-savvy chops with RealPage/OneSite, Microsoft Office, and internet know-how to navigate like a digital nomad. 

 

Killer organization to juggle tasks and keep the chaos in check.

 

Knowledge of apartment fair housing laws to stay legit and confident. 

 

A valid driver’s license (if you’re rolling in a golf cart, depending on the spot) and a smartphone to stay locked in. 

 

Math skills to crunch discounts, commissions, and percentages on the fly.
