About the Role
 
ARC Living dba Axia Residential is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead all accounting and financial reporting functions for a growing multifamily investment and property management platform.

The current portfolio includes 14 properties located across Georgia and Alabama, with a clear plan to scale the platform over the next 5 years—creating a unique opportunity to build and shape the accounting function alongside that growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who can both lead and execute—owning the day-to-day accounting function while partnering with leadership on financial performance and strategy.

This role is best suited for someone coming from a small to mid-sized real estate or property management company who is comfortable wearing multiple hats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including financial reporting & month-end close 
  • Manage audits, internal controls, and compliance with GAAP 
  • Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis 
  • Oversee investor reporting, distributions, and capital transactions 
  • Ensure compliance with lender requirements and partnership agreements 
  • Lead and develop the accounting team 
 Qualifications
  • 7–10+ years of accounting experience with leadership experience 
  • Background in multifamily, real estate, or property management accounting 
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting 
  • Experience with Entrata, RealPage, or similar systems

Compensation: $180,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
