What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in preserving the appearance, safety, and functionality of our apartment community. Responsibilities include:
- Complete resident service requests promptly, professionally, and with a customer-first attitude.
- Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents by completing quality make-readies on schedule.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, flooring, and general carpentry issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community.
- Maintain the appearance and functionality of common areas, amenities, and grounds.
- Assist with emergency maintenance and participate in an on-call rotation.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to prioritize daily work and achieve team goals.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
- Deliver exceptional service while building positive relationships with residents and team members.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
- At least 2 years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
- EPA Type II or Universal Certification strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and general maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
