Position Summary
As a Leasing Consultant you are the first impression and a key contributor to the community’s recovery. Your goal is to increase occupancy through outstanding customer service, effective leasing strategies, and professional representation of the property. You will guide prospective residents through the leasing process with enthusiasm and knowledge, support retention programs, and actively participate in outreach and resident engagement.

Success in this role requires a high level of energy, a strong customer-first mindset, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment where occupancy, retention, and reputation are top priorities.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 1+ years of recent leasing experience in the multifamily industry.  
  • Working knowledge of RealPage, OneSite Management Software, Microsoft Office, and the Internet. 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively before groups, have common sense, and is a self-starter who prides itself in doing the best work possible!
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
Your Key Responsibilities
   Leasing & Sales Performance
  • Greet prospects and residents with warmth and professionalism; create a welcoming leasing experience
  • Conduct property tours and highlight features and benefits of apartment homes and amenities
  • Conduct regular property walks to ensure curb appeal and adherence to community standards; assist with leasing presentations and tours to prospective residents.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of lease terms, pricing, availability, and all community policies
  • Guide applicants through the leasing process, including application, screening, and lease execution
  • Prepare move-in documentation and ensure units are turn-ready before resident arrival
  • Use RealPage/OneSite to track leads, applications, and resident data
  • Help maintain a high lead-to-lease conversion ratio to support occupancy targets
  • Perform administrative duties including processing paperwork, maintaining resident files, data entry, correspondence, and facilitating resident meetings.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of office supplies as needed to support daily operations.
   Marketing & Outreach
  • Implement community marketing strategies and promotions as directed by the Leasing Manager
  • Conduct weekly outreach to local businesses, schools, and apartment locators
  • Maintain fresh and relevant marketing materials in the office and online listings
  • Support reputation management efforts through reviews, follow-ups, and online engagement
  • Shop nearby properties regularly and report findings to the leasing team
   Resident Experience & Retention
  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries, service requests, and concerns
  • Participate in resident events, retention programs, and move-in/move-out communications
  • Provide follow-up communication to ensure resident satisfaction and build community trust
  • Support renewal process by engaging with residents and preparing renewal paperwork
  • Maintain accurate and organized resident files and records
   Presentation & Property Standards
  • Ensure model units, office areas, and amenity spaces are clean, staged, and tour-ready at all times
  • Assist with maintaining overall curb appeal and presentation of the community
  • Report any property or resident concerns to the Leasing Manager or Property Manager

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
